Dr. Anup Salgia is the Medical Director of Atlantic Medical Group. He has had a passion for fitness, aesthetics, and nutrition. Dr. Salgia trained at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Cleveland Clinic-MetroHealth-Case Western Reserve University residency program in internal medicine and emergency medicine, respectively. He is board-certified.
While in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Salgia served honorably with the US Marines for several years. He was a Medical Officer for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations. While deployed, he led close to one hundred men and women overseas. He was involved in the Kosovo Campaign and several NATO operations and exercises. He has been awarded several distinguished military awards and medals.
Dr. Salgia holds three U.S. patents and has a number of patents pending internationally for medical devices that he has invented.
